The Hon. the Speaker: Honourable senators, it is my sad duty to inform you that our colleague and former Speaker, Senator Molgat, who has represented us all so well, has suffered a massive stroke and is in a coma. Allison and members of his family are with him.

A request has been made of me to recognize the Deputy Leader of the Government at this time.

Hon. Fernand Robichaud (Deputy Leader of the Government): Honourable senators, I move, seconded by Senator Kinsella, that the Senate do now adjourn.

The Senate adjourned until tomorrow at 2 p.m.
